Description
Vintage Boucheron Paris 40s 18k gold and silver compact with rubies, birds, flowers, and butterflies motifs. The case is rectangle shaped with intricate hand chased birds, butterflies and flowers with a front pierced design accented with collet set rubies. The case was designed to show the inside mirror as a background for the birds, butterflies and flowers. Inside the compact are two mirrors, powder compartment, cigarette holder, cigarette compartment, lipstick, and a matchbook holder. Compact is signed and numbered; on right top edge “Boucheron Paris”, and on the left top edge B T N0875012. The compact comes with a black evening purse/case with an open window front design, single twist style strap, and two pockets on reverse, one snaps and the other pouch style pocket.
