Description
Vintage Natale Ferrario rare 1950s heel-less cantilever black leather shoes. The shoes are elevated by cantilevered metal support. Shoes feature pointed style toe and leather inside lined. Stamped in gold on insoles have the Griffi world patent, Natale Ferrario, Su, Licenza, Brevetto Griffi, Italy. Romeo Griffi patented the cantilever design in 1958. Trompe l’oeil meaning tricks of the eye or optical illusion.
